Booking, Payment & General Terms and Conditions

A travel enquiry, quotation or itinerary proposal does not constitute a confirmed reservation.

A booking becomes binding only when:

• Morocco Marvels has confirmed the requested services in writing;
• the client has accepted the quotation or booking conditions; and
• The required deposit or other payment specified in the quotation has been received by Morocco Marvels.

Availability is not guaranteed until the booking has been formally confirmed.

For tailor-made itineraries, Morocco Marvels may make reservations and financial commitments with hotels, camps, transport providers, guides, restaurants and activity providers only after receiving the required payment or written authorization from the client.

The individual quotation, booking confirmation and any specific conditions communicated to the client form an integral part of the contract.

In the event of any inconsistency between documents, the following order of precedence shall apply:

• Specific written terms contained in the client's accepted quotation or booking confirmation;
• Special conditions expressly communicated for the booking;
• These General Terms and Conditions;
• General information published on the Morocco Marvels website.

A personalized quotation may contain cancellation, payment, accommodation, activity or other conditions that differ from these general Terms. Where such specific conditions are clearly stated and accepted by the client, they shall apply to the relevant booking.

Website prices, sample itineraries and indicative prices are provided for guidance and do not constitute a binding offer.

The final price is the price stated in the personalized quotation or booking confirmation accepted by the client.

Prices may depend on:

• travel dates;
• number of travellers;
• accommodation category;
• room configuration;
• vehicle category;
• activities selected;
• availability;
• seasonal demand;
• supplier rates;
• special events or holidays;
• changes requested by the client;
• other services specifically requested.

Once a quotation has been accepted and confirmed, the agreed price will remain applicable except where changes are subsequently requested by the client, where additional services are added, or where circumstances specifically covered by the booking conditions require a price adjustment.

Unless otherwise specified in the quotation, a 30% deposit is required to confirm a booking.

Morocco Marvels may require a higher deposit or full payment for:

• last-minute bookings;
• peak-season travel;
• luxury or exclusive accommodation;
• villas and private residences;
• special events;
• non-refundable rates;
• domestic or international flights;
• large groups;
• private events;
• specially contracted services; or
• bookings involving suppliers requiring advance full payment.

The applicable payment schedule will always be stated in the quotation or booking confirmation.

A booking is not considered secured until the required payment has been received and written confirmation has been issued.

Unless otherwise stated in the quotation, the outstanding balance must be paid by the deadline specified in the booking confirmation.

Morocco Marvels may require full payment before the commencement of the trip.

Where a client fails to pay the balance by the applicable deadline, Morocco Marvels may suspend or cancel the booking, subject to the cancellation conditions applicable to the reservation.

Any supplier cancellation charges, non-refundable commitments or other costs resulting from late payment may be charged to the client.

Travel documents, vouchers and final travel information may be withheld until the booking has been paid in full.

Payment may be made by the methods specified by Morocco Marvels, including bank transfer and secure online payment.

Where a payment method generates transaction, processing, card, payment-gateway or currency-conversion fees, the applicable fee will be communicated to the client where required.

Unless otherwise stated in writing, third-party payment processing fees that have already been incurred may be non-refundable to the extent permitted by applicable law.

Cancellation must be submitted in writing by email or another written communication method expressly accepted by Morocco Marvels.

The effective cancellation date is the date on which Morocco Marvels receives the written cancellation request.

Unless different cancellation conditions are expressly stated in the quotation, the following standard cancellation schedule applies:

• More than 60 days before arrival: deposit retained as a cancellation and administration charge.
• 60 to 31 days before arrival: 40% of the total booking value.
• 30 to 15 days before arrival: 60% of the total booking value.
• 14 to 8 days before arrival: 80% of the total booking value.
• 7 days or less before arrival, no-show, or cancellation after commencement: 100% of the total booking value.

These percentages represent standard cancellation charges and may be replaced by stricter supplier-specific conditions where those conditions are stated in the client's quotation.

Certain services may be subject to cancellation conditions imposed by third-party suppliers.

These may include, without limitation:

• luxury hotels and riads;
• desert camps;
• private villas;
• domestic flights;
• international flights;
• trains;
• private transportation;
• restaurants;
• private guides;
• special events;
• festivals;
• activities;
• excursions;
• spa treatments;
• yacht or boat services;
• special transportation;
• peak-season reservations; and
• promotional or non-refundable rates.

Where a supplier imposes cancellation charges greater than the standard Morocco Marvels cancellation schedule, the supplier's specific conditions may apply, provided those conditions have been communicated to the client or incorporated into the accepted quotation.

The client acknowledges that Morocco Marvels may be required to pay suppliers in advance in order to secure requested services.

Tailor-made itineraries are created specifically for the client and may require Morocco Marvels to make advance financial commitments to multiple suppliers.

Once the client approves a tailor-made itinerary and Morocco Marvels begins securing the services, cancellation or modification charges imposed by suppliers may become immediately applicable.

The client is responsible for cancellation and modification costs that Morocco Marvels cannot recover from suppliers, subject to applicable law and the specific conditions of the booking.

After confirmation, the client may request changes to the itinerary.

Changes may include:

• travel dates;
• number of travellers;
• accommodation;
• room categories;
• vehicle type;
• route;
• activities;
• guides;
• transfers;
• arrival or departure points;
• meal arrangements; or
• duration of the trip.

Morocco Marvels will make reasonable efforts to accommodate requested changes, subject to availability.

Any additional supplier charges, price differences, administrative costs or other expenses resulting from a requested change may be charged to the client.

A reduction in the price of the original booking does not automatically create a refund where suppliers have already been paid or where contracted services are subject to non-refundable conditions.

Morocco Marvels reserves the right to make reasonable changes to an itinerary where necessary for operational, logistical, safety or supplier-related reasons.

Such circumstances may include:

• road closures;
• weather conditions;
• flooding;
• natural events;
• strikes;
• demonstrations;
• government restrictions;
• security considerations;
• accommodation closure or overbooking;
• supplier failure;
• transport disruption;
• changes in operating schedules;
• availability issues; or
• other circumstances outside Morocco Marvels' reasonable control.

Where a change is necessary, Morocco Marvels will make reasonable efforts to provide an appropriate alternative of comparable standard.

Where an alternative is of lower value, Morocco Marvels will address the resulting price difference where appropriate and required under the applicable contractual or legal framework.

Accommodation is provided according to the category and property specified in the accepted quotation.

Room types, views, bedding configurations, connecting rooms, adjoining rooms and specific room locations are subject to availability unless expressly guaranteed in writing.

If the confirmed accommodation becomes unavailable for reasons outside Morocco Marvels' reasonable control, Morocco Marvels may provide alternative accommodation of a comparable or higher standard.

Where an equivalent alternative cannot reasonably be provided, Morocco Marvels will discuss the available options with the client and apply any remedy required by the applicable contractual and legal framework.

Transportation will be provided according to the vehicle category specified in the quotation.

Vehicle photographs displayed online are illustrative unless a particular vehicle is expressly guaranteed in writing.

Vehicle substitutions may occur for operational, mechanical, safety or availability reasons. Where substitution is necessary, Morocco Marvels will seek to provide a vehicle of comparable standard and capacity.

Clients must comply with reasonable safety instructions given by drivers and staff.

Morocco Marvels may use qualified employees, independent professionals and third-party suppliers to perform components of the travel arrangements.

These may include:

• licensed tourist guides;
• professional drivers;
• transport companies;
• hotels and riads;
• desert camps;
• restaurants;
• activity operators; and
• other tourism service providers.

Morocco Marvels remains responsible for its contractual obligations to the extent required by applicable Moroccan law.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude or limit liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.

Unless expressly included in the quotation, flights are not part of the services provided by Morocco Marvels.

Where flights are booked through or arranged by Morocco Marvels, the applicable airline's conditions, ticket restrictions and fare rules also apply.

Morocco Marvels is not responsible for airline decisions concerning:

• delays;
• cancellations;
• missed connections;
• baggage;
• denied boarding;
• schedule changes;
• strikes;
• operational disruptions; or
• other matters attributable to the airline.

Where Morocco Marvels is required to assist the client following an airline disruption, reasonable assistance will be provided, but additional costs may be payable by the client where they are not recoverable from the airline or otherwise covered by the booking conditions.

The client is responsible for ensuring that all travellers possess valid:

• passports;
• visas;
• residence permits where applicable;
• travel documents;
• vaccination or health documentation where legally required; and
• other documents necessary for travel.

Morocco Marvels may provide general guidance but cannot guarantee entry into Morocco or any other country.

Failure to obtain the necessary documentation does not automatically entitle the client to a refund and may result in applicable cancellation or no-show charges.

The client must provide accurate information required to operate the booking, including:

• full names;
• passport details where required;
• nationality;
• arrival and departure information;
• accommodation requirements;
• dietary requirements;
• mobility information;
• relevant special requests; and
• contact information.

Morocco Marvels is not responsible for costs arising from incorrect, incomplete or late information supplied by the client.

Any correction requiring changes to confirmed services may generate additional costs.

The client must inform Morocco Marvels before booking of any relevant condition, mobility limitation, dietary requirement, allergy or other circumstance that could reasonably affect participation in the proposed services.

Morocco Marvels will make reasonable efforts to accommodate disclosed requirements, subject to the suitability and availability of the relevant services.

Certain activities may involve physical exertion, uneven terrain, heat, altitude, animals, water, vehicles or other inherent risks.

Clients are responsible for assessing their personal suitability and obtaining appropriate professional medical advice where necessary.

Activities may carry inherent risks, including but not limited to:

• camel riding;
• quad biking;
• horse riding;
• hiking;
• mountain activities;
• water activities;
• cycling;
• desert activities; and
• other outdoor or adventure experiences.

Clients must follow the instructions of the relevant activity provider and use safety equipment where provided.

Where an activity provider requires the client to sign a waiver, declaration or separate participation agreement, the client must comply with that provider's requirements.

Morocco Marvels cannot guarantee the operation of an outdoor activity where weather, safety or other operational circumstances make the activity unsafe or unavailable.

Clients are expected to behave respectfully toward Morocco Marvels personnel, drivers, guides, accommodation providers, other guests and local communities.

Morocco Marvels may take appropriate action, including terminating a service or removing a client from an activity or itinerary, where the client's conduct:

• creates a safety risk;
• threatens or abuses staff or other persons;
• causes significant disruption;
• damages property;
• involves illegal activity;
• creates an unreasonable risk to the client or others; or
• materially interferes with the operation of the trip.

Any additional costs resulting from such conduct may be charged to the client.

No refund will be due for services voluntarily abandoned or terminated as a result of serious misconduct by the client, subject always to applicable law.

Clients are responsible for their passports, money, electronic devices, luggage, jewellery, valuables and other personal belongings.

Morocco Marvels should be informed immediately if property is lost or left behind so that reasonable assistance can be provided.

Morocco Marvels is not responsible for loss, theft or damage to personal belongings except where liability arises under applicable law.

No automatic refund will be provided for services voluntarily unused by the client, including:

• accommodation nights;
• meals;
• excursions;
• activities;
• guides;
• transfers;
• transportation;
• sightseeing;
• early departure; or
• late arrival.

Where a refund is available from a supplier, Morocco Marvels will make reasonable efforts to recover the applicable amount and pass on the recoverable amount to the client, subject to any applicable administration or transaction costs and applicable law.

Clients are responsible for arriving at agreed meeting points at the agreed time.

Where a client is late or fails to appear, Morocco Marvels will make reasonable efforts to contact the client.

Additional costs arising from missed transfers, waiting time, re-routing, replacement transportation or rescheduling may be charged to the client.

A failure to appear for a confirmed service may be treated as a no-show and may result in the full applicable charge.

Morocco Marvels shall not be considered responsible for failure or delay caused by circumstances that are unforeseeable or unavoidable and beyond its reasonable control, to the extent recognized by applicable law.

Such circumstances may include, without limitation:

• natural disasters;
• severe weather;
• floods;
• earthquakes;
• wildfires;
• public-health emergencies;
• war;
• terrorism;
• civil unrest;
• government restrictions;
• border closures;
• strikes;
• major transport disruption;
• road closures;
• supplier insolvency or failure;
• security incidents; or
• other exceptional circumstances beyond Morocco Marvels' reasonable control.

Where such circumstances occur, Morocco Marvels will make reasonable efforts to protect the client's interests and, where possible, arrange alternative services.

Any refund or credit resulting from cancelled or unavailable services will take into account amounts actually recoverable from suppliers, prepaid non-refundable commitments and any rights or remedies required by applicable law.

Nothing in this clause excludes mandatory consumer rights or liability that cannot legally be excluded.

Morocco Marvels may cancel or terminate a booking where:

• the client fails to make required payments;
• required travel information or documents are not provided;
• the client materially breaches these Terms;
• the client's conduct creates a safety or operational risk;
• performance becomes unlawful or impossible;
• a supplier becomes unavailable and no reasonable alternative can be provided; or
• exceptional circumstances make performance impossible or unsafe.

Where Morocco Marvels cancels a booking for reasons attributable to Morocco Marvels and not to the client or circumstances beyond reasonable control, the client will be entitled to the remedy required under the applicable contractual and legal framework.

Comprehensive travel insurance is strongly recommended and may be essential depending on the nature of the trip.

Insurance should ideally cover:

• trip cancellation;
• trip interruption;
• medical expenses;
• emergency evacuation;
• repatriation;
• lost or delayed baggage;
• personal belongings;
• adventure activities; and
• other risks relevant to the itinerary.

The client is responsible for checking the adequacy of their insurance policy.

Morocco Marvels does not act as the client's insurer.

If a client experiences a problem during the trip, the client should notify Morocco Marvels as soon as reasonably possible so that an opportunity is provided to investigate and, where possible, correct the issue while the client is still travelling.

Complaints should be communicated promptly to the Morocco Marvels representative, driver, guide or contact person and confirmed in writing where appropriate.

A failure to report a problem promptly may limit the ability of Morocco Marvels or its suppliers to investigate or remedy the issue.

Formal complaints should be submitted in writing to Morocco Marvels within a reasonable period after completion of the relevant service and should include sufficient details and supporting documentation.

Morocco Marvels will review the complaint and respond within a reasonable period.

This procedure does not prevent the client from exercising any mandatory rights available under applicable law.

Morocco Marvels accepts responsibility for its contractual obligations to the extent required under Moroccan law.

Nothing in these Terms shall exclude or limit liability for matters that cannot legally be excluded or limited.

Where a loss results from circumstances attributable to the client, including incorrect information, failure to follow reasonable instructions, unlawful conduct, negligence or failure to comply with travel requirements, Morocco Marvels may seek recovery of the resulting reasonable costs to the extent permitted by law.

Morocco Marvels shall not be responsible for losses that are solely attributable to circumstances beyond its reasonable control or to services outside the contractual scope of the booking, subject to mandatory legal rights.

Certain services are additionally governed by the terms and conditions of the relevant supplier.

Where applicable, those conditions may include specific rules relating to:

• cancellation;
• refunds;
• no-shows;
• deposits;
• check-in;
• baggage;
• activity participation;
• age restrictions;
• health requirements;
• safety requirements; and
• liability.

Where such conditions materially affect the client's booking, they will be communicated where reasonably required.

Morocco Marvels may collect and process personal information necessary to administer and deliver the client's booking.

Information may need to be shared with relevant suppliers, including hotels, transport providers, guides, activity providers and other service providers, where necessary to provide the contracted services.

Personal information will be handled in accordance with applicable Moroccan data-protection legislation and Morocco Marvels' applicable privacy policy.

Morocco Marvels makes reasonable efforts to maintain accurate website information.

However, website content may change, including:

• itineraries;
• accommodation;
• photographs;
• activities;
• availability;
• schedules;
• prices; and
• descriptions.

The accepted quotation and booking confirmation prevail over general website information.

Written communications may be exchanged by email, electronic booking systems or other written communication methods accepted by Morocco Marvels.

Electronic acceptance, written confirmation and electronic payment may constitute evidence of the client's acceptance of the booking and these Terms, subject to applicable law.

The client is responsible for maintaining access to booking-related communications.

Unless otherwise specified, quotations are issued in the currency stated in the quotation.

Where payment is made in another currency, the applicable exchange rate, bank conversion rate or payment-provider rate may result in a difference in the amount received.

Morocco Marvels is not responsible for exchange-rate fluctuations or bank charges imposed by the client's financial institution.

For group bookings, pricing and arrangements may depend on the number of travellers stated in the quotation.

If the number of travellers changes before departure, Morocco Marvels may recalculate the price and operational arrangements.

Any reduction in group size may affect:

• accommodation;
• transportation;
• guides;
• activities;
• meals;
• supplier rates; and
• the overall per-person price.

Group-specific cancellation and payment conditions may differ from the standard conditions and will be stated in the relevant quotation.

Parents, guardians or accompanying adults are responsible for minors travelling with them.

Any child reductions, room-sharing arrangements or child-specific services apply only where expressly stated in the quotation.

Certain activities, accommodation or transportation services may impose minimum age, height, weight or other participation requirements.

Promotional, discounted, early-booking, last-minute, non-refundable or special contracted rates may be subject to conditions different from standard bookings.

The applicable conditions will be stated in the relevant quotation or booking confirmation.

Where Morocco Marvels arranges a service provided by another company, the client acknowledges that the service may be subject to the provider's own operating and contractual conditions.

Morocco Marvels will coordinate the service in accordance with its contractual obligations and applicable Moroccan law.

These Terms and the contractual relationship between Morocco Marvels and the client shall be governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Morocco, subject to any mandatory consumer-protection provisions that apply to the client.

The parties should first attempt to resolve any dispute amicably through direct communication with Morocco Marvels.

Nothing in these Terms prevents a consumer from exercising mandatory rights available under applicable law.

Where a dispute cannot be resolved amicably, the competent Moroccan courts shall have jurisdiction to the extent permitted by applicable law.

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, unlawful or unenforceable, that provision shall be interpreted or modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it lawful and enforceable, where legally possible.

The remaining provisions shall remain in effect.

Morocco Marvels may update these General Terms from time to time.

The version applicable to a confirmed booking is the version accepted by the client at the time the booking is confirmed, unless a subsequent amendment is expressly agreed between the parties or is required by applicable law.

By accepting a Morocco Marvels quotation, booking confirmation or payment request, the client acknowledges that:

• they have received the essential information concerning their booking;
• they have reviewed the applicable itinerary and services;
• they understand the payment schedule;
• they understand the cancellation conditions applicable to their booking;
• they understand that certain services may have supplier-specific cancellation conditions;
• they have provided accurate information;
• they understand their responsibility regarding passports, visas and travel documents;
• they have been advised to obtain appropriate travel insurance; and
• they accept these Booking, Payment & General Terms and Conditions.
