Ourika valley is a very popular destination, which makes it the busiest destinations, both with tourists and locals. Just an hour outside Marrakech, its river and mountainous shield makes it the best escape for the scorching sun of Marrakech. You can take a hike to its waterfalls (there are 7 in total) but the higher ones are quite challenging to reach. Enjoy your lunch at the sides or even in the middle of the river as many restaurants have prepared tables and chairs in the water, some people enjoy soaking their feet in the water while eating for maximum cooling effect.
