Itinerary
We begin our 4 days tour early morning at 8h00 am We head to Midelt city passing through mountains and The famous cedar forest. We continue driving to Ifrane a magical city. Then to Azrou, a town rich in all sorts of handicrafts especially cedar wood. We stop for Lunch in Midelt. In the afternoon, we head drive to Erfoud and finally to the desert. Have Dinner and spend the night in the camp at the foothills of Erg Chebbi Sahara dunes.
After breakfast, we drive to Khamlia village to rejoice in live Gnawa music and continue on an off-track road to enjoy a tour of the sand dunes. Sit for a tea break with nomads in Berber tents, you will discover a new way of life and enjoy a Berber pizza for lunch. Head back to the camp for short rest before taking your camel trip and dive into the middle of the dunes to witness the memorizing sunset, spend the night at the camp in a luxury tent.
An early morning to see the beautiful sunrise, a delicious breakfast in the middle of the dunes, followed by a camel ride back to the same point of departure. Trade your camels and get into your private vehicle departing to Dades Gorge, where we have a scheduled overnight. The trip is about 5 hours, but we will divert to visit Todra Gorge (this would add an additional 2h onto the trip). En route, we will visit the Todra, where you will experience the unbelievable glory of the massive canyon walls reaching some 300 meters (900 feet) high and continuing for some 100 meters (300 feet). We will make a few stops along the way as we drive through various small Berber villages and the town of Tinjdad, and we can even schedule a short walk through the Todra Valley.
This morning, after breakfast in the hotel, We depart to Ouarzazate via Skoura . Stopping for a panoramic view of the kasbah of Taourirt then another photo stop near the atlas film studios. After that you will visit the Kasbah of Ait Benhaddou and stop for lunch in a local restaurant in the village. In the Afternoon we will drive to Marrakech over the mountains of high Atlas, passing through the Tizi N’tichka pass (2260 m in altitude). Drop off in Marrakech.
