This tour offers you a mini road trip to visit the Ouzoud falls, the authentic and the beaten track mountain village of Imilchil before travelling on the popular Merzouga desert.
Discover some of the best of Morocco’s less visited natural environment at the time forgotten and steeped in tradition community of Imilchil, known internationally for its annual Berber marriage gathering and ceremony in addition to the beautiful nature and wilderness of its high plateau steeped in folklore.
Take a few hours trek in the mighty Todra Gorge exploring the rich and unique geology of the region before visiting the sandcastle-like Kasbahs and date palm oases, spend the night under the 1000 stars and enjoy the beautifel drive trought the Draa valley.
The road from Ouarzazate goes to the highest part of the Atlas forests, at an altitude of 2,200 meters, in the area known as Col de Tichka. Then comes the spectacular descent to Marrakech and its beautiful surroundings

Itinerary
After breakfast, we start our trip to the magical 100-meter-high Ouzoud waterfall at the southern end of the Middle Atlas, one of the most visited sites in the area. The white falls thunder down to the bottom of a chasm of greenery, all around which are found flour mills, monkeys, and pools lined with reeds. After lunch, next to Lake Bin El Ouidane we continue to Imilchil, a small Berber village that lies at the heart of the Middle Atlas. It is a village well-known in Morocco for its traditional Berber wedding festival. We will visit the two famous lakes of Izli and Tizlit before heading to the hotel in Imilchil,
After a typical local breakfast, we leave Imilchil towards the small village of Agoudal where we will stop to have tea with a Berber family then we continue to Todra for a short walk to admire the fascinating Todra gorges and the valley, lunch in one of the restaurants we drive to the dunes of Merzouga across Tinjdad and Erfoud. Camel ride to the camp with a stop at the top of the dunes to watch the sunset. Overnight under the tent with dinner and some local music.
Early morning, you will wake up to enjoy the sunrise over the dunes of Erg Chebbi, followed by breakfast in the camp, the camel ride back to the departure spot. from there We drive to Rissani, a small Saharian town in the southeast of Morocco where we can stop to visit a fossil workshop before we continue to Agdez and Draa valley, then we head north to Ouarzazate after crossing the small volcanic Atlas Mountains. Overnight in Ouarzazate.
After breakfast, we can enjoy a visit to cinema sets & studios . Afterwards, we will visit the universal Heritage Site of Ksar Ait Benhaddou awhich is a world UNESCO heritage site since 1986.
Ait Benhaddou is a World Heritage site that has been used as a backdrop for more than 20 films, including “Gladiator”, “Indiana Jones”, and “Lawrence of Arabia”. Enjoy a walk to explore the traditional Moroccan style of architecture in which the Kasbahs are built. We continue our way to Marrakesh through the High Atlas Mountains and Tizi n’Tichka pass. Break for lunch in the high Atlas Mountains. then we continue our way to ritch the red city.
