Tour Overview
The 4 days trip from Marrakech to Fes via Merzouga is one of our best seller tours. On the 1st day, we will drive about 200km with many stops to take photos in the high Atlas Mountains, visit the Telouate Kasbah, drive along Ounila valley to reach the famous fortified village of Ait Ben Haddou, and spend the night in Ouarzazate city known as the Hollywood of Africa. However, our 2nd day will give us time to discover both gorges Dades and Todra and do some hiking to enjoy the gardens. Moreover, after the night in the Todra gorges, we will head to the fabulous dune of Merzouga where you will ride the camels to watch the sunset and reach the camp for your last night. Finally, on our last day, we will head to Fes, during our journey we will do stops in the cities of Midelt,Azrou, and Ifrane

Itinerary
Departure at 09:00 am from your hotel or Riad in Marrakech to the High Atlas Mountains across the Tizi-n-Tichka pass (2260 m), we reach the other side of the Mountains, to the traditional High Atlas Berber villages passing by the kasbah Telouate (visit the kasbah) and lunchtime. We drive along Ounila Valley and arrive at the UNESCO World Heritage site, Ait Benhaddou Kser, which is the most famous of all Moroccan villages, largely due to its appearance in many Hollywood blockbusters. After the visit to the Kser, we continue to Ouarzazate for an overnight in a nice Riad.
After breakfast, you will drive through the Road named the road of 1000 kasbahs to Dades Gorges along the valley of Roses you will enjoy the beautiful green gardens with all kinds of fruit trees such as figs and almonds. Enjoy going through many Berber villages along the way to see how the locals live arriving at Dades Gorges short walk inside. Overnight in a nice guest house.
This morning, Our journey will continue towards the Sahara sand dunes along the desert landscapes between the high and Anti-Atlas Mountains. We will stop for lunch in Erfoud known for the Fossils and the best dates in Morocco, you will visit one of the factories where they make beautiful articles and then we head to Rissani to visit the mausoleum of Moulay Ali Cherif the founder of the actual Alaouite dynasty of Morocco at 17th century. Arriving at the sand dunes of Merzouga, Ride the camels to reach your luxury camo for the overnight under tent.
After breakfast, you can ride back the camel or 4WD to reach the car. After that, we will drive to Fes, with many stops on the way to enjoy the panoramic views over the Ziz valley before we continue through the High Atlas Mountains to reach Midelt the capital of Appel where we will stop for lunch. Later we drive through a huge cedar wood forest where you will see the Berber monkey to Ifrane and we continue to the legendary imperial and spiritual city of Fes.
